There are 2 hikes coming up this Sunday 5/18.

First, there is a Fire Tower hike/work session planned for about 8:30am on Sunday morning. We are hoping to meet up with hikers where the red trail leaves the access road just below the big towers also known as the "wash-out" at about 8:30am. We are planning on bringing about 20 fire tower steps to the tower. That way, all the steps will be up there and ready for installation

Also, there is a Mount Beacon Incline Railway Society hike up to the top of Mount Beacon that same morning. The group will gather at 9:30am at the Gateway to Mt. Beacon Park on Rt. 9D. The group will be going up the red trail to the top of the incline railway. Also, some who want to continue on, will go to the Mt. Beacon Fire Tower.

When's the next hike?

Anyone know when the Fall Incline hike will be ? Their website hasn't been updated since last year, and the date in the Events section on the MountainTops website is also from last year. Is it possibly on 10/19 ?
